Rotary Membership:

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
High ethical standards in business and professions;
The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

The Rotary 4-Way Test of the things we think, say or do:
Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendship?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

If you have done this and are interested in applying for membership to our club, please download our membership application here and return it with your next visit.

Membership with the Rotary Club of Chicago - Financial District includes weekly lunches at 12:10 p.m. on Thursdays at the Union League Club - 65 W. Jackson, Chicago, Illinois. The club is regularly engaged in volunteering, fundraising and social activities. While membership does not require your participation in all events, the more you participate the more you will enjoy Rotary. By being a member of a Rotary club, you have the opportunity to visit and "make-up" meetings at any of the 32,000 clubs and their 1.3 million members around the globe.

Integrated Leadership Systems, will be discussing Psychologic Safety, and its role in reaching a consensus in a meeting environment.

March 29, 2018 NO LUNCHEON MEETING FIFTH THURSDAY.  There is no regular luncheon meeting.  We will be having an after hours event at Ten Pins in/near Marina City.  This should be a fun event as it is being planned by our Charter Club Member and Club Historian - Dennis Gorman.  Details to follow.

                        - Luncheon Meeting - Mat Phelps, presenting an overview of the Salvation Army, focusing on the organization's Cadet Traing program here in Chicago; Along an interesting career, Mat is currently an instructor at the accademy.

April 19, 2018 - John Saccomono will present his thoughts on fund raising; a timely subject for our Ratory Club.
